A short film SWEET TOOTH we made for fun ;)

Screen-printing demo onto paper, cloth & skin! Thanks to Saints Of The Lot for putting on Hydrobloom at The Basement, Brighton. Thanks to Inkspot Press, Jack Nash, Lucy Stencilmoose, Sharon Alonglines and Reuben too. We SALUTE you!

At Inkspot, we were delighted to host the 7th annual trip of 16 to 18 year old students from the ACS Hillingdon International School. It was an intense three days, with batches of around 8 students creating their own edition of prints in 6 hours.

When students were not screen printing, they were creating their own lino-cuts & relief prints. This is a great opportunity for classes of up to 25 to take a memorable school trip to Brighton, learn creative skills and give everyone’s art portfolio a boost.

More images to follow. Many thanks ACS & all tutors!

Dark Horses

Earlier this year I was honoured to Art Direct a shoot for ‘Radio’ which is the first single released by the mighty Dark Horses. The full-day shoot was immensely enjoyable and the song still has power/meaning after hundreds of plays.  It’s a pleasure to see some familiar faces in this video, which was directed by the mastermind W.I.Z.

The Dark Horses hold a special place in my heart. I’ve had a sneak-listen to their first album (released later this year) and the collection of songs are captivating, catchy and somehow timeless. Lisa-Elle is a siren.

I am looking forward to seeing their imminent success. Despite their use of occult imagery (pyramids, eyes etc) the ‘Horses are a force for good and I fully endorse them. ;) Enjoy the video (see if you can spot me in it too)

Here’s a LINK to an article about them in NYLON

And here’s their FB invite for their next gig in London.
